NDT Services
Critical welded components in lifting devices must be tested beyond visual inspection. HEFT provides NDT services to support both our manufactured products and equipment owned by customers.
Typical methods offered include:
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) for surface and near-surface cracks in ferromagnetic materials.
- Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) for surface-breaking cracks.
- Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM) for checking wall thickness and detecting corrosion loss.
NDT is conducted by qualified personnel following written procedures. Reports identify the items tested, areas examined and any indications found.
